Stay Outdoors

Yamaha Financial Services is committed to those who work and play outdoors. Supporting the outdoor enthusiast, the Stay Outdoors Program aims to provide practical support to Canadian registered charities and not-for-profit groups for their conservation and access projects, as well as activities to promote responsible use of our trails, roads and waterways for motorized recreation.

Application Submission Period: CURRENTLY CLOSED. The 2026 program will reopen early Summer.

Determine if your group qualifies

Canadian registered charities and not-for-profit groups can apply.

Download and review the form and guidelines, gather all the required information to prepare your application.

Find a Yamaha Dealer

All projects must be supported / recommended by a local Yamaha dealer.

2025 Stay Outdoors Grant Recipients

The grants for 2025 have been awarded to six applicants:


Blue Fish Canada

Blue Fish Canada is dedicated to facilitating youth of all abilities to become stewards of nature, ensuring the future of fish and fishing for generations to come. Through inclusive outdoor programming, they empower young people to connect with Canada's waterways, fostering a lifelong appreciation for conservation and the natural world.


Club VTT Chaleur ATV Club Inc.

The Notre-Dame-des-Érables project represents a new major milestone for our trail network. It aims to replace an old and excessively narrow trail, which many users avoid taking, with a larger, safer and more accessible trail. This new trail will serve as a strategic link or connection between the Chaleur region and the Acadian Peninsula, which is home to 8 quad clubs (ATV/Side-by-Side clubs) consisting of over 5,000 members combined.


Coquihalla Summit Snowmobile Club

Coquihalla Summit Snowmobile Club is a passionate snowmobile riding club based out of the Britton Creek Rest Area along the scenic Coquihalla Highway. Dedicated to promoting safe and responsible snowmobiling, they provide riders with access to stunning backcountry terrain while fostering a strong community of outdoor enthusiasts who share a love for winter adventure.


Kootenay Rockies ATV Club (KRATV)

Kootenay Rockies ATV Club (KRATV) is a dedicated ATV riding community serving the stunning Kootenay Rockies region of British Columbia. Committed to promoting responsible trail use and outdoor recreation, KRATV connects riders of all skill levels with incredible backcountry experiences while advocating for sustainable access to the region's breathtaking landscapes.


Variety -The Children's Charity of BC

Variety - The Children's Charity of BC is committed to providing inclusive recreational opportunities and vital support for children with disabilities and complex health needs. By removing barriers to participation, Variety ensures that every child has the chance to experience the joy of outdoor activities, fostering confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging in the great outdoors.


Watersheds Canada

Watersheds Canada is a charitable organization dedicated to freshwater conservation and education across the country. Through community engagement and science-based initiatives, they work to protect and restore Canada's vital freshwater ecosystems, empowering individuals and communities to take meaningful action for the health of our lakes, rivers, and streams.
